I think that sounddogs.com might have some, but i'm not sure i haven't looked into it. You could try just banging some metal strips together, I'm not sure...Just experiment with your own sound effects.

very cool, but its a little too clean and neat for a soldier...You need to dirty it up a bit and put some creases in it, basically just break it in.

Well the fugitive was good, it was great...but for your movie, i think you should either come up with an idea of your own, or you could adapt a book, that would be a good way to start out, but i personally would start with a work of my own. They are typically cheaper and a good basis for your work.....

RE: How To Do Tony Scott Editing

I've no idea, but personally i don't like to take other directors styles. Maybe borrow from them a bit, but just use the stuff you know, come up with your own style and it will look alot better.

i thought it was good, but reactions were slowed and it was a little hard to follow, maybe if you tried a few more wide shots, and if you sped up the pace it would be alot better

if you have lots of time you could build a platform, put dirt, grass, gravstone, etc. on it and make it look like the ground. Then have your actor crouch down behind it and stand up. You could cover him in dirt or cut a hole in the middle of the platform for different effects. Just work with it, exp...

me and my friend just use a mic from a karaoke machine and plug it directly into the camera, you need an adaptor but it makes for moderately good sound.

yea....thats a good idea, for after the leg is gone, just don't get their legs in the shot, except for a few seconds, then you can just cut it out

I'm still kinda working on my style...and i don't have my own camera yet, my friend has the only camera....But i like lots of close ups, lots of slow zooming (or dollying). I also like the fast-paced urgent kind of feel you get when you take the camera off the tripod and do it hand-held, i really li...

RE: nose blood

I'm thinking either, two or more shots, one with a clean face, and several more with different stages of blood...Changing angles of course to avoid a camera jump but that might take some tricky editing. You could also hook up a hose to some container of fake blood, then put it on the side of his nos...

RE: Over the top movie idea

have the bad guy come up with some really elaborate way in which the hero is going to die, but it will have a really obvious way out. And then once the hero gets out he goes to kill the bad guy, but he gets away. also Try some really ludicrous MacGyver stuff like making bombs out of salt or something.

i think you should just have a normal fight, with as much basic punches and kicks as possible. Just the most basic thing you can do....then use tricky angles, slowmotion, ghost trails, lots of subtle sound effects, take something very simple and do something to it that just makes your audience go &q...

film all of the footage from the room....then play it on the moniter and once the moniter is out of view cut to the original footage...if you edit it right it should look good, but it may take some time and concentration
