final cut isn't very hard at all, it's all about playing around with features and trying different things. I personally think final cut is easier than premiere. But anyway, cantoloupe answered the question.

elementry, that's pretty young to start film isn't it? I teach that age group for drama but i'm not sure how u would go about doing film. kids and expensive equiptment don't mix.

definately go with the Canon MVX150i (optura10) It is a very good camera, not sure of the price over there but the RRP down here is $1,900 AUD but i saved over $300 on mine.

Every film festival is different, Read the rules and they will tell u. Most people shoot on digital first, the reason is quality. And some festival require Mini DV tapes, where as most of the others require VHS. Not many have DVD, because DVD burners still cost a fair bit of money and not enough peo...
