In my experience, premiere is just abit of a cheap imitation for the windows users.... even though it came out before FCP and was initially for mac. I take the film I filmed on and then I cut the frames I don't want and then tape them to the frame I want it at. My grandma tells me I'm a natural. oh...

hot fuzz is awesome! agreat comedy and sums it up with a big action scene at the end. i wouldnt call it an action movie though, its more of a parody of action films. and i completely get what you mean about the fast cuts minilem, it just has really quick cuts during and between scenes, it dosnt just...

RE: Dropped Frames While Uploading
You could also buy an external hard-drive, they are getting really cheaper now. I bought an 80gb hard-drive for $80 a while ago, now you can get a 200gb hard-drive for that same price. If you do go with the external hard-drive option, make sure you get one that connects to your computer via firewir...

RE: Earth explosion
its pretty good. although the bit where the lights shining through drags on a little bit, i was wondering how it'd look with the music suddenly cuts out and then the zap and explosion happens. the big ring from the whole thing fades out a little too quickly.
but yeh good job.

RE: Execution (Gore)
it wasnt too bad. the colour corrrection was good. except the first blood hit burst out way too much in the opposite direction he was being hit. and the other couple were obvious that blood was being thrown at him.
cover up those things and youve got an alright splatter job going on there.
