I wasn't sure what was in his hand, energy orb or something? I think you should make it so it's animated or something; right now it kinda looks like a slice of paper or something.

The explosion I think you should speed up or make smaller if it's just him exploding; if it was a general explosion maybe you should add dirt blowing upward.

Also I thought the explosion was a bit too slow, and the maybe try using the photo filter effect to try and match the lighting to the explosion.

But for the orb just disappearing, maybe you should have added like a little explosion to that rather than vanishing.

This is what he really meant to say:

You should try a different compression codec....... and the fire is good but maybe instead of having your actor go up in flames right away, have him being slowly consumed by the fire. Cut from a wide shot to a medium shot of your actor being burned alive. And sound effects wouldn't hurt either. I know its just an effects test but its just a suggestion. I suggest making the energyball fluctuate rather than having it as a still in the video clip. Other than that, good job. Keep up the good work. :D

Notice I said nothing about the pants he wears or emos (sounds like an animal or something). Who cares. The clip wasn't about the pants, it was about a demon effect :P

Looked top notch to me, I agree the quality of the flame was slightly diffrent to the rest of the frame but it worked exellent, no matter what 'pants' he was wearing

It's usually not that much since most of it goes up into the air.

Oh yeah and one thing aaronv2, some of us have lives and dont spend 24/7 critiquing and spending hundreds of years learning how to do one effect, and some of us have just started.
