How do I make it so Vegas 5 will automaticly separate my captured video into individual clips?

Huh? You're going to have to just cut them yourself, why do you wan't it to automatically cut them?

It makes it much easier. This way you can do half the cutting.

You mean how Pinnacle sometimes cuts it for you whenever the timecode stops because you cut the film on your cam yourself? You should be cutting it yourself with the razor tool, if Vegas cuts it for you (even though it can't) it can sometimes hear you pressing the record/stop button and could have camera shake from you pressing it.

it like takes all the times where you stop and start the camera and turns them into individual clips, its just easier when editing.
