hey i wanted to know if anyone had a popping sound from audio files when in Final Cut Pro.. I'm running 5.0.2 right now and i wanted to know if there was a way to fix this.
NOTE: when i play the files out side of FCP there fine... and i tryed importing them again n again still nothing.. Plz post any info.
Popping in my sound?

It could be a problem with the format of the audio. I think converting it to AIFF helps. If nothing else send the audio to Soundtrack Pro, it has an option to remove "pops" in the audio, by recognizing high spikes in the audio waveform file. The apple forums/discussions would probably prove useful too.

I get that anytime I exceed the 0 limit by any amount. You might try what Epsilon said normalize and see if it reduces it. Although if it was pegged and poping on the orginal its going to be hard to get rid of.
