Need some advice. I've been looking at desktops to start getting into video editing --- have a budget of about £300 & will mainly be basic editing to begin with.
I've was looking at this spec:
-Processor (CPU)
INTEL® CELERON® 440 (2.00GHz) 800MHz FSB/HTT/512KB L2 Cache
-Memory (RAM)
1024 MB CORSAIR DDR2 667MHz - LIFETIME WARRANTY! (2x512MB)
-Motherboard
ASUS® P5VD2-VM: DDR2, S-ATA II, 1 x PCI-E x16, 2 PCI, etc
-Memory - 1st Hard Disk
80GB SERIAL ATA II HARD DRIVE WITH 8MB CACHE (7200rpm)
-2nd Hard Disk
250GB SERIAL ATA II HARD DRIVE WITH 8MB CACHE (7200rpm)
-Graphics Card
128MB GEFORCE 7200GS PCI Express + DVI + TV-OUT
plus a firewire.... am I missing anything? This is all from pcspecialist.co.uk -- i'd be grateful for any thoughts & suggestions of other places to look. Ideally i'd like custom built.
cheers

How much was that?
It's about the spec I use and it's pretty much all good!

Looks good! It's a bit above what I use, and I am able to do the basics on mine (editing, effects, 3D animation). Looks like you're set to go!
